Default PCV Hose for K&N Air Tube

PCV Hose for K&N Air Tube

While checking my oil, I noticed the PCV hose coming off the K-N air body tube was cracked. Did some part number digging and found this: 4792256 Hose, Make Up Air. The part was about $4.50 from the Dealership. It was a good snug fit and should work well. I do not like the white part number and the dull finish.

Otherwise, perfect fit if your’s has a crack.

Another option is plain old 1/2" heater hose from any parts store

I have had to do this on several intake installs where I found the OEM hose split

If you put hose clamps on it the ends won't develop the stress split.

Whoa, a Chet sighting, where you been buddy?

If I put hose clamps on it, they will have to be black so they do not stand out.

Very busy lately Chris, with both work, and family matters. I try to check in every day, but sometimes don't have a comment worth posting.

Could of capped it off on the intake side and toss on a breather filter on the valve cover.

When Joe installed my intake, the stock hose was cracked and we replaced it with 1/2" heater hose. It works.

Lee, I thought breather filters were only useful for engines with forced induction (supercharged, turbocharged)?

Nope, not really. Comes in handy to keep the intake and throttle body oil free.
