I noticed that the site banner (above) has two pictures of 2nd gen Concordes and no pictures of a 1st gen Concorde...

One of them is supposed to be a 2nd Gen LHS.

I did not think they made a 2nd gen lhs... I thought the 300m replaced the LHS/New Yorker

They did. Up until 2001 I believe. Then in 2002, the LHS became known as the Concorde LXi and Limited.

In the banner, the bottom left is the LHS, top right is a Concorde.

eh. looking it over again, the grille is narrower than the 'Cordes grille...

1st Gens:

1993-1997 - Intrepid, Concorde, Vison
1994-1996 - New Yorker
1994-1997 - LHS



2nd Gens:
1998-2004 - Intrepid
1998-2001 - Concorde Design 1
2002-2004 - Concorde Design 2
1999-2004 - 300M
1999-2001 - LHS


Concorde's 1st design is easily noticeable by the "shark mouth" grill that was much wider that the LHS's :

and from the rear that reverse lights are integrated with the tail lights, also the bumper is much shorter:

Early Concorde's Interior was more like that of the Intrepids, with some slightly nicer points:

2002 and up Concorde's took the LHS's Exterior. They all kept the original interior parts for the most part, and were available with lower options than the LHS (for example, you could not get a LHS with cloth seats)

The 2002+ Concorde Limited = LHS. Same interior, options, etc.

Option groups for LHS are very limited, here is the option list for 2001, Not 100% sure about other model years:

Smokers group
Cold weather group
Sunroof
Side impact airbags (01'+),
Full size spare
Chrome or painted silver wheels (either way was the Razorstars)
Luxury Group (included California walnut wood interior and steering wheel trim, Automatic dimming driver's side outside mirror, Automatic tilt down feature for outside mirrrors, & the EVIC)

And I thought the narrower grille was a 'corde. I figured it was a change from one year to the next that brought about the wider grille. Shows what I know. Nice pics of the 'corde.

I looked at your sig thread and that is a sweet looking ride. I now see the differences between them. the taillights on your LHS also have amber lenses for the turnsignals. I love the interior of your LHS. nice.
