This mod has been a long time in development, going on two years now. I have finally found the secret to performing this mod successfully! I finished up the first nearly perfect emblem this morning and I've decided to offer my services to you guys!

I take a stock gray and chrome hood emblem, strip the factory paint off and then carefully repaint the emblem in whatever color you want. The color options are 100% your choice, anything you want, I can do. Primary colors are included with the price. Other colors will cost a little extra since I will have to go out and buy them.

The pic shows the emblem I have customized for my own car in red with a black background. You will notice a few small blemishes because this emblem has cracks in it. Very small cracks might be visible on your finished piece but I will try to keep that to a minimum. I can do any of the chrysler emblems of this style. I'll be attempting some others soon but if you have something in mind let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Price is $20 plus shipping. Any questions feel free to ask!

How many hood emblems do you have?? I'm thinking this would be perfect for the trunk key cover.

Late!

I would love one for my hood when it's finished.

I'm going to pick up half a dozen emblems at the yard this weekend to get started on. They will only be standard first and second gen intrepid emblems. I'll look at the other LH's to see if I can do those too. If you want me to do something else just let me know and I'll work with you on it.

Someone on the other site asked about cores so I'll mention it here too. If you send your core to me there will be no shipping charge. I get them cheap enough that I dont need to have your core back, but if you want to send it I'm fine with that too.

Also to clarify, It is possible for your new emblem to have cracks in it but I will try my best to keep that at a minimum. The plastic cracks when exposed to sunlight, the more sun, the more cracks. If I start on one for you and the cracks are too bad I'll just throw it away and start on another one.

What if I bought a new one and sent it in?

Then it would be crack free and you wouldnt have to pay me for shipping either.

I will think about the hood badge for the hood. BTW, I love the red cladding.

Heres a thought, the newer badges and some dupicolor metal cast paint.

I've got three dodge hood emblems that I'll be starting on today. Trepman gets one, the other two are up for grabs.. I also have a pair of pillar emblems from an Eagle Vision that cane be customized.
