View Full Version : Anyone need some free newborn diapers?

Yes, I know this is going to sound strange. I have about 25 Huggies diapers, individually wrapped in trial packs that I would like to see go to someone who has a new baby or is expecting. These are the ones they give you in the hospital when you are discharged.
They are newborn sized, so probably good up to 10 lbs or so. These were given to me by someone who works in a local hospital that is closing. Rather than throw them away, she gave them to me but my daughter is already over 12 lbs and they are too snug.
If you want them, let me know soon before my wife brings them to the Red Cross. I'll even pay the shipping in the lower 48 as a new baby gift to you.
A close friend and his wife are expecting a baby any time now...she might even be in the hospital now. Saturday is her due date.
If you don't find anyone else, I'd give the diapers to them.

My cousin just had a baby earlier in the month, but she had a birth defect and died yesterday. :(

Gorm, you're first in line so PM me your address if you want them.
Dr. Dodge, if Gorm passes, I'll be happy to send the to you. Sounds like your neighbor could use all the help she can get.

Wow. First off, congratulations on the daughter, Frank. I didn't know she was born yet. I guess I lost track of time.
Brad, that is so sad. And Doug, I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't even imagine having to go through that once even. It's wonderful that your daughter turned out OK. It sounds like she was a real blessing to you guys.

Geez what a tragic thread. My sister was a preemie @ 6 months and spent the first few weeks in the ICU. I know it would have devastated my mom & dad to lose her. So so sorry to Brad and Doug to hear your stories.

The 1st one was no big deal. They say that sometimes the womans body just has to get ready. So the 1st one was like practice.
With the second one we had a name and everything. I am totally over it now but it got me real bad at the time.

Wow, some sad stories here. Very sorry to hear about your losses. I can't imagine how hard it must be to experience something like that. On a good note, my only sibling, my big brother Jay, was a preemie back in 1976. He was 2 lbs and 7 oz. He was born in India and he has been doing fine ever since with no health issues. He's married and has a 1.5 year old baby boy. My mom always brings up the story about when he was brought home and how small he was. All the clothes they had were for normal sized babies. The only thing they had was a medium sized doll, and he wore the doll clothes until some were made for him.
Here is my nephew Neel.

Yes, he loves to play with blocks. He even slept with a green one for a good while. My dad slept with a hammer when he was 2 years old for 2 weeks, until my grandmother took it away from him and hid it since he was fixing things that didn't need to be fixed. LOL. He's an Auto Technician now...figures. :)

This is his first "ride". If anyone gets near it be ready to get smacked on your legs. We can't even put him in the seat and push him around in it (what it's intended for). He always has the handle and he will go wherever he wants. LOL.
