--> <p>You can also use a Sun-load sensor from a 99 or newer Jeep Grand Cherokee, with slight modifications (Different screw mounts) </p><!--<br /
--> <p><font face="verdana, arial, helvetica" size="2">Yes you can add the auto headlamp switch from the 300M to your Intrepid, the only thing you need to make it work is the sun sensor on the top of the dash (same
sensor with the little red light for the alarm) if you don't have this sensor the switch will not know when to turn on when it gets dark. Some SE cars have the electrical connection taped to the dash under the top cover so all you need to do is get the sensor and light switch and install them. To see if you have the connection for the light sensor you have to pry up the top I.P cover closest to the front window , then you will see a hole in the middle of the I.P ,if you have wires coming out and taped down you only need to plug in the sensor ,screw it down and cut the hole in the top cover for it to stick through. good luck.&quot;&nbsp; Ottorwrk</font></td><!--<br />

lift up and unscrew the screw (Phillips) under the Headlight switch switch.</td><!--<br />

the on position and move the shifter back to about 'D', then lift the<br />
center console trim cover and move it back.<br />

piece (where Hazard flasher switch is), you kind of push and tug at the
same time, tilt the steering wheel down and then pull on the trim that has

the vents on it, but pull gently and evenly, pull the arch above the
gauges also, careful the headlight switch is connected to this and don't
pull the wires out tilt up and out of your way, now disconnect the wire

Thats it, probably one of the easiest things I have done on the car......

I've found that when you install the auto headlight switch without a sun sensor, the Body Control Module assumes that the sun sensor is bad (or it's dark) and always turns on the lights. This is a possible solution if you often forget to turn off your lights; just leave the switch in the auto position.
