I have two lh's a 2001 intrepid and a 2000 300m. The cars have been parked for quite some time while i was away (approximately a year). I charged the battery on the 300m i noticed the car would not unlock with the fob. didn't think mouch of it and replaced the batteries in the fob. Still no go, noticed it would lock but not unlock. Hit the panic button it unlocks as well as set the panic off. Note: i only have one remote. Next day I try the intrepid, it's doing the exact same thing. I tried reprogramming the single remote on the intrepid by the key method still the same! I don't have a evic in 2001 intrepid. and the 300m is a 2000.
Anyone have a thought????

Along the lines of Scar's problems, did you physically check the contacts of your keyfobs? Maybe they could have rusted or something inside of there.

If the doors still lock, I gotta think that they are still programmed and that it's either just not sending the unlock signal. I doubt that it would recognize the lock signal but lose the unlock signal.

It's so bizarre i agree, I think i will take the one remote apart and see. you would think if it wasn't programmed you would have nothing.
Did Scar have something similar?
