My dad helped his buddy clear out the building where his business was, and in the process ended up with 3 HUGE steel tool benches. They're sitting on a 16' trailer behind the RamBus right now and my dad said I can have one if I can find room for one.

I'm gonna have to find some room! Or MAKE some room!!! :hurray:

Nothing is as good to have as a huge solid workbench

My current workbench is made of 2" square tube with 1' thick wood top, it took 4 of us to move it into my basement, the measurements were made around my hatchway doorframe with only 1/4" to spare

I have told my wife that if we ever move the new owner is going to get a damn good bench since there is no way in hell I am moving it out

I was in Home Depot last night and they had a large metal workbench (drawers & backing) for $50.00, one leg was crushed by a forklift. I looked hard at it and passed it up, dam thing was ugly and wouldn't flow well with a new garage.

Late!

My current work bench is made out of cinder blocks and two 2x6s with a sheet of plywood on top.

After I get the car out of the garage im going to redo the garage. Got a extra TV and two extra intrepid bench seats (soon to be three). One side would be a work shop and the other will be a hang out.

Sorry for the hijack lol. Congrats on the new work bench.
