Brake Bleeder (http://store.motiveproducts.com/shared/StoreFront/default.asp?CS=motive&StoreType=BtoC&Count1=16903102&Count2=934043526)
Saw this on Powerblock TV yesterday. The adapter screws directly to the master cylinder reservoir, a few pumps pressurizes it, pushing new brake fluid through when the bleeder nipples are opened at each rotor.

Saw it too.
I love how it was a "budget" deal, yet I can almost guarantee they put over 5K in that tuck.

I've been looking at how to make one of these since I'm cheap. When it's time to get my brakes done I want to change all the fluid and I think this would be the easiest way by far.

I was planning to go with speedbleeders on my car but couldnt find them in stock anywhere so ended up with the old school method, wife pumping brakes and holding while I opened bleeders

I was actually thinking of a DIY option made out of one of those sprayers gardeners use for spraying chemicals etc etc. It probably wouldn't be too hard to rig up.

That's exactly what I was thinking, pick one of those up along with a old cap from the yard and you're set.

I have the Motive Products unit and it works well. One of the big problems with making you own froma garden sprayer is the size of the bottle and the room under the hood. The MP unit is short and stubby and can fit pretty close to the firewall. Also, it has a pressure gauge to keep you from over pressurizing and breating a mess. I'm not saying a homebuilt unit wouldn't work, but the real deal is worth the additional money.

No doubt, but i'm a cheap bastard. It wouldn't be too challenging to put a pressure gauge in it. That one above is only 1.5 gallons, i can't imagine that would be too hard to fit under the hood. Hell, make the hose longer and sit it on the floor.

There is a difference between bleeding the brakes, and flushing the fluid.
That device is for system flushing.

Haha, that's exactly what i've just made too. Except i put an actual pressure gauge in mine. I secured the gauge with the nut pictured, a washer and some Liquid Nails. I didn't use liquid nails for any other reason other than that's what i had in the toolbox. I got a couple of caps today, so i'll finish it off tomorrow probably.

Well that was a complete and utter failure that resulted in brake fluid every bloody where.
Nice colour that came out of it though...

What failed? the pressure gauge connection or the master cylinder connection? I'm curious, might do this myself.
Late!
