Well I ran about 180 miles and just filled up with a drip over 10 gallons. That makes about 18 MPG.
Some around town driving, today I took a trip over to Fairchild AFB and the ECON showed 27-32 or so in cruise at 60-70. I also did a WFO from about 10-70 on an entrance ramp, it's got oompf and the trannie snaps shifts like a pro. Ran Marvel Mystery in the recommended proportion.
I left the old plugs in despite the shop telling me it needs a new set, which I will put in this week. Hopefully that will make a difference, at nearly 38K I imagine those are the original plugs.
Maybe the Smithsonian would be interested in them...:seeya:

I think he's talking about the 95 LHS he has. I would like to know how it just has 35 K on her. Thats a crazy low miles for that year.

My LHS with 120K miles gets around 23mpg mixed driving. My last fill up was 17.3 gallons, and I got 397miles from full to empty.

I recently changed the plugs, wires and PCV Valve. I have only had the LHS for 5 months and so far it get WAY better gas mileage then the Special... If I get the ambition, I will change the fuel filter soon too. That will help a great deal

the first gen tank is 18 gallons.

I have fit 19 in there.

With the 3.3 I can get almost 400 Miles city/highway mix! I havent really gotteen to see a highway mpg yet.

1 time or another i got 410 miles on a tank of fuel, and this car has 203k miles on the odometer. You think with this kind of mileage on it (yeah right 410 miles on a tank of fuel). You be suprised how well these cars get on fuel. I travel 70 miles each way to and from work and 1 tank lasts me a week and i out 87 octane in it.I never added any kind of additives other than a fuel injector cleaner but its been the bext gas mileage car i have ever driven.

thanks

I plan on changing them. The book says 30,000. I should get to them tonight or tomorrow. Got a new fuel filter, and will probably replace the PCV doodad.

First owner had it 10 years and put about 1000 miles/year on it. Hopefully he didn't run over a couple dozen people in a farmer's market or anything like that. :dunno:
It was sold a couple of years ago and the new owners ran up about 27,500 in two years.
Miles confirmed by registrations and smog checks. Or somebody hacked into California's computers and changed a few records. Whatever.

Huh? Open road, 400 miles from NY to Richmond, VA, I use 3/4 tank. That is with 80+ MPH driving. OTIS says DTE 90. I believe it.
You guys really gotta start thinking about changing your EGR.

So what are your actual MPGs? A gas gauge reading is a very rough indicator, actual miles divided by gallons used is the real deal.

What are you driving? And what will changing the EGR accomplish?

I'm Gonna Call :icon_bs: on that.

There is no LH engine that can get over 30 mpg at 80 mph+

Hell the best my car ever did was a 435 mile drive to my dads up in Ga. In 5 and 30 minutes hours Flat. (give on take a few minutes)

My gas warning Light Had just came on when I pulled into my dads which mean I have roughly bout 2 gallons left at most but going to say there was a Gal. and half for good measure.

So, Let's do the math, 435 miles, 16.5 gals used, in a total time of 5 hours and 30 mins.

That a avg speed of 79 mph, avg Mpg of 27.18

With a 3.3 in good running order, and alot of Drafting to be quite honest.

Now I woulda kinda believed ur statement if you have the 3.3, and your DTE wasn't so high and you saying it was only 3/4 tank. That and Up North is not exactly Flat too.

I would think 2.7, but no way in hell a 2.7 can pull off 30mpg plus at 80mph, considering it has way much more lower gearset than the rest, and the 3.2, and 3.5 engine are not, crazy bout sipping fuel at those speeds.
